A few words about me

Hi.

Milan here.

I grew up in a small village in western Slovakia... You've probably never heard of it. It's a nice place; tucked between rolling hills of forests and fields in the Carpathian basin. The seasons would bring different colours and moods to the world, from the green of spring to the rich yellows and reds of autumn, to the bleak white of winter. This natural beauty led me to begin experimenting with photography from a very young age; I would wander around with my camera, looking for the perfect shot, the perfect angle, the perfect light. I wanted to share my vision with others, to show them the world which, while boringly normal to some, continued to fascinate me

My goal as a photographer is to capture the world around us and inspire others to appreciate that which we might perceive as "ordinary" or "boring".

This website, while serving as a portfolio of sorts, is more of a space to share my thoughts and ideas. photos, tips and tricks, stories behind the scenes, and more. A fun project to keep busy.
